Lifestyle Image - the Process

Many people - especially women - fulfill numerous life roles. A working wardrobe should reflect each and every element of this life.

How someone dresses can provide clues to their job, status or salary. Women are especially good at reading these visual signs and how these are read can impact on how people relate to each other.

The aim of an image consultation is to identify a comfortable range of clothing, allowing some flexibility.

There are some hard and fast rules such as keep it in scale. Those under 5'3" should avoid anything too big and bold (like bug-eye sunglasses) and anyone over 5'8" should steer clear of anything too dainty (like delicate jewellery).

Grooming and polish is another universal rule. Whatever you have to work with make the most of it. Avoid unkempt hair, bitten nails, crumpled clothing and scuffed shoes.

The first half of the consultation is about understanding the client, their needs and wants and the basic rules. The second half of the consultation is little more scientific.
